A drawstring / drawcord is a string, cord, lace, or rope used to "draw" (gather, or shorten) fabric or garment. The ends of the drawstring may be tied to hold it in place (and/or simultaneously close an opening). Alternately, the drawstring may be kept drawn using a cordlock.
A lockstring is a kind of fastener primarily made from plastic or ABS material that has end mechanisms which allows it to be locked permanently. Thus it offers a better level of security and also much cheaper price make it one of the most common RMG accessories.
